They say in Southern California you can surf and snowboard in the same day. Well, for these four athletes, that simply wasn’t challenging enough.

Watch as pro surfers Alana Blanchard and her fiancé Jack Freestone team up with gold medalist snowboarder Hannah Teter and her boyfriend Luke Johnson, and attempt to surf, hike and snowboard in a single day.

From Huntington Beach to Joshua Tree to Big Bear, they’ll be exploring three distinct terrains in the Tucson and Santa Fe.
